Caraway Chaplains

Caraway Chaplains are there to listen and help you work your way through some of the changes, challenges and transitions we all face in our later years.

Our friendly team work across Southampton, are trained through the national programme of  ‘Anna Chaplaincy’ and have undergone safeguarding checks.

The work of our Chaplains is very varied – as well as visiting with individuals, you might find them taking a Care Home Church Service, organising a Holiday at Home event, or helping at a Dementia Friendly Memory Cafe.

Our Chaplains for Dementia are specifically trained to help those living with this illness. They work to support the individual as well as those living with and caring for them.

Our Chaplains usually telephone first and arrange to visit as needed. They are also available on email.

Wherever they are in action – they always have a friendly smile and a listening ear.
