A few days before Christmas, on a damp December day, the Hamwic Brass Band arrived in Lordshill, fully intent on spreading some Christmas cheer.
It had been a really wet day, but God is so faithful, and during the 15 minutes before the time the event was to start, the rain stopped and it stayed dry! Praise God!
This was the second year Hamwic Brass Band have played Christmas carols for us outside of Rozel Court and Sarnia Court. The residents loved it, many came out to sing along and those who were unable to leave their flats listened from opened windows as we spread the hope and cheer of Christmas after a very dreary wet day!
