Working with Care Homes and Sheltered Housing we come alongside older people.

Our Chaplains and Volunteers are able visit Care Homes across the City. They can offer to hold Christian Acts of Worship such as a Church Service, Communion and Prayer as well as visiting with individuals.

We offer a popular bi-monthly Zoom Church Service, attended by a growing number of Care Homes that involve music, poetry and readings.

We also have residents from a number of Care Homes join our larger annual events such as Holiday at Home, and our Tea Dances.

Care Home Services on Zoom

Every other month Caraway hold a Church Service on Zoom led by our Chaplaincy Team.

Each Care Home links in from a Community space where residents can gather easily to take part.

The services consist of music, readings and poetry – sometimes alongside an activity. There is also time to say hello to people and have a catch up.
